As we bid farewell to the year gone by, the Tidewater Rotary Club extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our various fall and winter programs and events. Your dedication and support have made a significant impact on our community, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Waterfowl Festival Setup:
A big shoutout to all the volunteers who pitched in at Easton High School for the Waterfowl Festival Setup on November 8th. Your help with the set-up and break-down of tables and backdrops played a big role in making the event setup go smoothly.
Bay Bridge 10K:
On November 12th, Tidewater Rotary Club Members teamed up with Chesapeake Conservancy for the Bay Bridge 10K. Club members ran/walked ten kilometers across the Chesapeake Bay to help raise funds and awareness for watershed protection and equitable access. We appreciate your dedication to making a positive impact on our environment.
Gift Cards for Seniors:
A big thank you to those who generously donated gift cards for seniors as part of the annual initiative. Your kindness has brought joy and support to the seniors in our community, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Festival of Trees:
The Festival of Trees, the largest fundraiser for the Friends of Hospice benefiting Talbot Hospice, received tremendous support from the community and some of our club members. We are grateful to all those who contributed to this wonderful event.
Salvation Army Bell Ringing:
A round of applause for the volunteers who dedicated their time on December 16th for the Salvation Army Bell Ringing at the Amish Market. Your efforts in spreading holiday cheer and raising funds for a good cause did not go unnoticed. Thank you to all that were able to donate!
