This August, the Tidewater Rotary Club will be raising flags around Easton for the fourth consecutive year for our “Flags for Cancer” fundraiser. Every flag raised honors a loved one affected by cancer. Flags will be displayed in town and names of honorees will be shared on the Flags for Cancer website.
The Tidewater Rotary Club of Easton has experienced cancer within our member base, families, and circle of friends. Each year we come together to honor our loved ones and support our community by adorning our town with a sea of beautiful colored flags to honor everyone we know who has struggled with cancer.
Each color represents a type of cancer and every flag represents our friends and neighbors that have battled the disease.
Your donation will help support local causes:
- The Mike Menzies Fund
- The Richard Slaughter Fund
- Mid-Shore Pancreatic Cancer Foundation
- Patients in Need Fund
In addition, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Tidewater Rotary Club’s continuing support of the many efforts within Talbot County.
Our wonderful volunteers make Flags for Cancer possible. And we’re always looking for more!
Sign up to help with the various aspects of setting up, maintaining, and dismantling the flags at the end of the event. Make new friends while you make a difference!
